The Treatment
What it is
Pulsed light hair removal (IPL) uses pulses of light that selectively target the melanin in the hair, damaging the follicle and slowing regrowth. It is suitable for the face and large body areas, with progressive, long-lasting results.
How it works
- 01
Assessment of skin and hair to set the parameters safely.
- 02
Delivery of pulsed light to the area; each session treats a portion of hairs in the growth phase.
- 03
Progressive reduction of hair with spaced sessions, until the desired result is reached.

Scientific Evidence
Intense pulsed light (IPL) is documented for long-term hair reduction: results are progressive and maintained with periodic sessions.
Best results are generally achieved with light skin and dark hair; the outcome depends on individual factors.
