The Treatment
What it is
Treatment of hair thinning may use PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and mesotherapy to stimulate the scalp and improve hair density and quality, in cases where the follicle is still viable.
How it works
- 01
Trichological assessment to identify the type of thinning and suitability for treatment.
- 02
PRP: blood draw, plasma preparation and micro-injections into the scalp.
- 03
Mesotherapy: micro-injections of a personalised mix of supportive nutrients.

Scientific Evidence
A meta-analysis in Dermatology and Therapy indicates PRP as a safe and effective option to increase hair density versus placebo.
The treatment works when the follicle is still viable; it does not act on atrophied follicles.
